Williams Lake
One of the standout features along the Williams Lake Trail is that you get one of the best looks at the tallest peak in New Mexico. That’s Wheeler Ridge! The trail is a four-mile round trip that should take less than four hours to hike. Follow the signs attached to trees for the Williams Lake Trail, or look for blue paint markings. Because of the potentially icy roads, you should use an ATV to get to the trailhead from November to April.
Wheeler Peak
The Wheeler Peak Trail is an almost nine-mile-long adventure, out and back.
