Taos Ski Valley
This is one of the biggest draws for snowboarders to the area. It’s a great place for those with experience because many slopes are fast. But, if you are new, don’t let that deter you too much because there are still easier slopes for getting to know the ropes. Angel Fire
Another slope that isn’t too far away is Angel Fire. There are more than 80 runs, more than 30 acres of glade trails, and a terrain park for freestyle boarding. Red River Ski Area
Just north of Taos is the Red River Ski Area. The area includes 57 trails and one glade with a mix of beginner, intermediate, and expert-level slopes.
