Historic Hacienda, Valley Views

I stayed at this charming home for three nights during my daughter’s wedding, which was only three minute drive from this house. It could not have been more perfect for my friends and Me who were staying. We felt completely at home here. It’s exactly the right kind of quirky in terms of having, not just generic beautiful Boho chic surroundings. There are lounging spots as well as tables and places to eat or all around the house inside and out. We were joking that we had to make a point to try and hang out in each area before we left after three days because the areas were also charming and nice. Love the fact that there’s a record player and records! We listen to records the whole time we were there and that was a real nice surprise. The views are even better than the picture show. The grounds are absolutely stunning. We had quite a lot of rain there and it was really nice that there’s a huge outdoor covered pat that feels more like a living room that we were able to hang out in the rain and enjoy the outdoors. Kudos to this place I will come here in the future. My new son-in-law is from Taos so I imagine we will be having some family holidays in that area. And this will be my number one choice for a place to stay! I would love to return there in the winter and get to use the fireplace and I’m sure it’s quite cozy. The linens were all very crisp and there were plenty of fresh towels, which made it really nice to be able to sit in the hot tub and a laundry room to get everything cleaned up and dried in afterwards. I could go on and on and on it was amazing and I will be back! also the host were extremely responsive, and I had different questions throughout the stay and I always got a response within an hour or so of messaging them. They were very helpful and insightful and actually helped me find this place after Airbnb had canceled on us just before my daughter’s wedding. it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it could not have been more perfect for us.

This is a gem of a place, especially if you like unique and charming homes. We had everything we needed for a fun and easy family ski trip.The house is conveniently located btwn Taos and Taos Ski Valley. Full of charm and unique elements everywhere you look, I absolutely loved the house and the views are outstanding! Everything is labeled and easy to find, from kitchen items in drawers to handy USB outlets in the base of each bedside lamps in the master bedroom. We enjoyed playing games by the fireplace and connecting our phones to the smart tv in the tv room to watch our videos taken during our fun in the snow. I also appreciate the easy instructions and minimal checkout duties. Thank you to the house and its host for being part of some wonderful memories.

Greg was an excellent host and his property astounds. Our group was in town for skiing and the proximity, gear room, and hot tub made this the perfect landing pad for our getaway! The home has different ‘wings’ for when folks wanted some quiet space from the group to read a book or rest their eyes, but not many did as the views and ambience had us all engaged. Recommend for a visit to Taos or even if you just want the check out nearby hot springs and the local scenery!

This home was nothing short of incredible- the architecture and layout, the location, the spaciousness, the VIEWS, made my birthday ski trip extra memorable. The hosts were super responsive and helpful, can’t recommend enough!

This home is really magical. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well-appointed, and the living and dining room with a big kiva fireplace is such a cozy spot to spend the evening (there is nothing better than an old adobe home). Still, the best part about this place is the view and the wonderful outdoor space. The owners/managers are very responsive and ready to make your stay a wonderful experience. You will not be disappointed!!

This is a beautiful, comfortable and unique home. Everything was provided to make our stay enjoyable including puzzles, board games, kitchen utensils, firewood and more! It got a little chilly and snowed while we were there and many of the floors in the house are heated, wow! We enjoyed the hot tub and the views. We also brought our two pups with us and they loved the backyard, although you have to be careful of the aquecias (water canals) and can't have your pets roaming freely and causing problems. We had no issues and would definitely consider staying here again!
