Breckenridge 1 is a versatile space with high ceilings and warm wood finishes with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the family. Lovely two bedroom ski in/ski out condo overlooking Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico at the best kept secret on the mountain, The Snow Bear. Just above the famous Taos Ski Valley Ski School and the brand new gondola, enjoy easy access to all the ski valley has to offer. Well-appointed and modern Breckenridge 1 is on the top floor with great views of the valley below. Be the first to the lifts on a powder day, but wake up in a secluded, private lodge like setting. Must have 4WD/AWD vehicle in Winter. With all of the modern amenities, including full kitchen, flat screen smart TV's and free Wi-Fi, you can have a great family vacation from your base at the Snow Bear. Enjoy the warmth and coziness of the northern-light-dappled great room with clerestory window highlighting wood floors. The kitchen is connected to the dining area and family room so the cook is right in amongst the fun. Bedrooms feature modern, comfortable beds, private baths, Internet TV and entrance. Each room has a view of the valley. A private, narrow balcony provides a great place for an evening drink as you watch the sun's last rays play on snow covered mountain tops across the valley. When you are ready to head out, check with our on-site manager for the best runs of the day, or suggestions on a meal out. Expect top notch cleanliness, responsiveness, and easy check in/ check out. Awesome place!
by AndrewAwesome place in the heart of Taos Ski Valley that was private and on the top floor. We had 4 guys and had plenty of room for all of us. The common area between the 2 rooms was key for us all to mingle, play cards, etc. Great kitchen to prepare nice meals! Walkable to the village and extremely easy ski in access. Ski out was a bit more challenging due to construction but doable if you are a somewhat decent skier/boarder.
One side note, make sure you have a 4 wheel/AW drive vehicle to get up the hill where the condo sits. We rented a suburban that was supposed to be AWD and was not so we could not make it up the hill. We were able to park at the bottom of the hill which was easily manageable for the 4 of us. If you need easy parking access, ensure you have AWD. Overall, this was a fantastic place and an awesome experience. I would definitely come back and may consider bringing my family!
Great Ski Lodge
by MarkNice 2 Br condo in walking distance to TSV. the place is about a 3 min walk to the children's ski school, where you can catch a gondola to the base (stops at 4 or 430pm). road to the condo is steep and icy, you definitely want AWD.

Quiet & Peaceful

Awesome!
by JayWe had an awesome time at Taos Ski Valley. The place is very close to the lifts especially the Rio Hondo ski school—one of the best ski schools anywhere IMHO. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions and let us in a few hours early since it was ready and the weather on the mountain canceled skiing at 11am. That was so nice! They didn’t have to do that! The place was spacious and had an amazing view. My only 2 comments to consider before booking: you need to have an all-wheel drive vehicle and this unit “Brekenridge 1” is up several flights of stairs that are covered in snow. I would say anyone with mobility issues may want to try another unit.
All-in-all, amazing place and hosts, would definitely rent again.
