Settle in for the ski weekend or a long summer stay at this spacious three level two bedroom three bathroom condominium close to Taos Ski Valley that sleeps up to 8 people in 5 sleeping spots. A formidable adobe building built into the hillside, this property showcases classic New Mexico architectural details in the rural valley village of Valdez overlooking the Rio Hondo river valley. All three levels boast beautiful valley views. With a design that's perfect for entertaining, the main floor living area includes dining and kitchen, sitting area and TV with wood burning fireplace in an open concept space with main floor full bathroom. The couch pulls out to a queen bed to accomodate two more guests. the second level offers a queen bed and king bed in the space with dresser, closet and full bathroom. On the top level a king bed and a bunk twin setup sleeps 3-4 people and offers a full bathroom. A long stairway connects the three living levels giving privacy to people sleeping upstairs if the fun's still happening downstairs. The home is 5 minutes drive to the quaint artisan village of Arroyo Seco with a great selection of galleries, shops and restaurants, 15 minutes drive from Taos Ski Valley with a nearby park and ride option with TSV free shuttle (check availability of shuttle service on skitaos.com website). The home is a 15-20 minute drive to the arts and cultural meca of the historic town of Taos. It is well positioned for access to the mountains with dozens of national forest and BLM trails to explore.
